The award winner leader in the JAVA runtime scalability, Azul Systems and Neo Technology, the creators of the Neo4j, which is the leading graph database in the world, have announced that Neo Technology is now a member of the ISV partner program run by the Azul. These two companies are currently working towards targeting key vertical markets where the performance and responsiveness of the large graph databases are extremely important.
The graph databases provide an extremely fast access to the types of complex data which is often found in the social networks, different networked systems and recommendation engines. In that sense, the graph databases are better than the relational and other types of NoSQL databases. These graph databases are optimized for the in-memory operations. It is important to push the limits of possible memory usage, whether it’s for a single machine or a large cluster for meeting the performance needs of the customers, be it the wireless operators, the financial trading systems, social media sites or the gaming operations.
On the other hand, the advanced JAVA technology of the Azul Systems enabled various applications to overcome the performance and scalability limitations of the traditional JAVA runtimes, thereby making extremely large in memory datasets practical.
